We Need To Stick Up For Israel.

Ever since the start of the war in Gaza on October 7th, 2023, antisemitism has been running rampant throughout the United States. As a result of the war, BBYO decided to conduct a study on antisemitism within Jewish teens of high school age. A survey was sent out to Jewish teens, and of the respondents, 71% have dealt with antisemitic acts. These occurrences happened both in person and online, and even for just possessing certain items that could be related to Judaism. The amount of antisemitism in the United States has always been higher than it should ever be, and is only growing and becoming more prevalent as time goes on.

Judaism is one of the largest religions and cultures in the U.S., yet still faces so much hate daily. As of 2021, there were about seven million Jewish people living in the United states. In New York alone, there are about 1.5 million Jewish people, and over half of the hate crimes committed in the state are acts towards Jewish people. The Pew Research Center conducted a survey, and the results were heartbreakingly alarming. When presented with the survey, 90% of the Jewish people living in the United States reported that antisemitism exists in the country, 75% reported that it has been growing over the past five years, and 53% reported feeling less safe than they once did. Jewish people face more discrimination than members of any other religion in the United States, and this is all part of the harsh truth about how Jewish people living in the United States feel about their safety and sense of belonging.

The rates of antisemitism have grown tremendously since the war between Israel and Palestine began on October 7th, 2023, as mentioned before. But now let's get into the actual facts and statistics that have been found. Since the start of the war, antisemitic acts in the United States have increased greatly, with over 3.5 million Jewish Americans having experienced antisemitism in some way, shape, or form. Even almost 400,000 Jewish children have fallen victim. Children! Almost 30% of Jewish adults now hide their culture when they are at work as a result of the war. Rates in vandalism and harassment towards synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses have gone up as well, leaving 18% of Jewish people not even feeling safe when they are at their jobs.

Survey results found that only one quarter of people formally report antisemitism, out of the fear of not being helped or taken seriously. These are only a few of the statistics found regarding the rise of antisemitism since October 2023, and they are still devastating. No one in the United States should be able to report things like this, yet Jewish people do, even after all the years and years of discrimination they have already faced.

This is simply not the American way. We celebrate the freedom of religion that our constitution provides us, and this should go for all religions. Israel is one of our strong allies, and after everything the Jewish community has been through, they deserve our full support during this hard time. We as Americans should be doing everything we can to protect Israel and the Jews living in the United States. The safety of every United States citizen is a top priority for president elect Donald Trump and the republican party.

So what have the Republicans done to fight this growing injustice? A lot. House Republicans passed so many acts to protect the Jewish people of America. Some of these acts include the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023, the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, and the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, among many others. Republicans are loudly against the Hamas terrorist group, and the implementation of these acts are straight up proof of that. Republicans have consistently stood with Israel, and will continue to protect and take care of the allied country.

Now what about the Democrats? They have done more damage to Jewish people than they could ever admit. The corrupt Biden Harris Administration wanted Israel to surrender to Hamas, rather than encouraging them to stand their ground and help them, like the Republican party has repeatedly done.

They have also allowed billions and billions of dollars to be given to Iranian forces, putting Israel in even more danger. Democrats in congress have also continuously voted against acts put in place to protect Israel, including 118 voting against the No Funds for Iranian Terrorism Act, and 194 voting against the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2024. Having acts like these voted against will give the wrong idea to citizens of the United States, leaving them comfortable to express their antisemitic views, leaving American Jewish people feeling unsafe.

Clearly, the Democrats do not care about our valued ally Israel, and have no interest in protecting the country like they should be. This is how we know we can count on president elect Donald Trump and the rest of the Republican party to save Israel, and protect the Jewish citizens of our soon to be great again country, America.

The Lasting Impact of Divorce on Children's Mental Health-and How to Mitigate the Damage

The Effects of Divorce The Lasting Impact of Divorce on Children's Mental Health-and How to Mitigate the Damage  While divorce might seem like an issue that primarily affects adults, it's the children who often bear the heaviest burden. We often like to think to ourselves that children are "resilient," that they will simply adapt to the changes around them. However, that assumption is largely misguided. Divorce disrupts the one source of stability children need most, being with their family. The effects of this can be huge, leaving emotional scarring well into adulthood, especially when a proper support system is not in place to help them deal with it. In fact, divorce can be extremely harmful to a child's mental health. It's not just a matter of sadness or disappointment, but rather an upheaval-that might be manifested in confusion, guilt, anxiety, and in extreme cases, trauma, as described with symptoms related to PTSD. However, this does not not to be the c...

Housing Market in shambles!!!! You know why...

Cartoon of the current state of the housing Market              Every American knows that a part of the American Dream is to one day have something of your own, a home. This has been the staple of success in America since our founding of our great nation. Yet it seems like that dream is being coughed from under us by the "progressive" left that's regressing us more than progressing us. With their solutions of rent controls and public housing projects, the crisis we face as a nation is getting worse. And the problem is obvious, Government! If they would to remove their filthy hands out of the free market, prices would fix themselves! But no, they refuse to solve the issues of our nation at hand before other countries. Without the IMMEDIATE removal of government zoning laws and similar regulations our country is done for.               Is it really crazy to say that the governmen...

Growing Crisis in Teen Drinking

teen drinking   Teen Drinking is a Growing Crisis. Here's Why It's Affecting Teenagers More Than Ever   We've all come across the saying at some point; "Teenagers are going to drink." Let's face it; this perspective does more harm than good. While we might downplay drinking as a norm of growing up and gaining experience in life the truth is much bleaker than we acknowledge openly. Today, teen drinking is not just a harmless phase— it is a crisis that affects everything from mental health to academic success, physical development, and even social dynamics.   The numbers are more than just alarming— they're downright troubling. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) , nearly 60% of high school seniors have had at least one drink in their lifetime. What’s worse is that almost 30% have engaged in binge drinking in the past month. That’s nearly a third of a generation actively putting their futures at risk for s...
